Cost: The cost to take the Multicraft pre-apprenticeship program is FREE. Funding: This project is a collaboration between the Electrical Training Academy and the OhioMeansJobs Centers in Adams, Brown, Pike, and Scioto Counties, aimed at supporting individuals interested in the building trades and construction trades. Funding is provided by the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Support: We partner with many of the Community Actions in multiple counties to aid participants in the Building Trades and construction trades. Through these partnerships, our participants can access supportive services such as boots, tools, clothing for work, mileage reimbursement, and other services funded by the county as part of our Multicraft pre-apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship program.
CLASS NIGHTS
Foundations is a 16-week pre-apprenticeship program focused on the building trades, meeting two nights a week. The 16-week structure is divided into three phases that cover essential skills for the construction trades.
Class Nights: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Class Times: 5:00 - 9:00 PM
Phases:
1. Phase 1 - Foundations
This phase covers Math, Reading, Employability skills, and OSHA 10 training.
2. Phase 2 - Concepts
Here, you will get an overview of the trades, including Lift Training, Hand & Power Tools, and First Aid/CPR/AED, along with Trades Exploration.
3. Phase 3 - Trade Specific
In this final phase, you will delve deeper into the specific trade path you have chosen, learning the fundamental aspects of that trade.

This cohort is part of our Multicraft pre-apprenticeship program, which focuses on essential skills for various building trades in the construction trades industry.
